What happens if I already have policies in place elsewhere?

We can review your existing programme without any obligation to move it. The output is a written report flagging coverage gaps, redundancies, sub-limit risks and renewal opportunities - the same document we would prepare for an internal audit. If the existing arrangement is sound, we will say so. Where it is not, you decide what to do with the information.

Group Medical Coverage (GMC)

Health insurance for employees & dependants

Cashless Hospitalisation, Employees and dependants can avail cashless treatment at network hospitals across India without upfront payment.
Pre & Post Hospitalisation, Medical expenses 30 days before and 60 days after hospitalisation are covered under the policy.
Day Care Procedures, Over 150 day care procedures requiring less than 24-hour hospitalisation are covered without overnight admission.
Maternity Benefits, Optional maternity cover for normal and caesarean deliveries, with waiting period waivers for corporate groups.
New Born Cover, Newborn babies are typically covered from day one of birth under corporate GMC policies.
Pre-existing Conditions, For corporate group policies, pre-existing condition waiting periods are typically waived from day one.

Accidental Death, 100% of sum insured paid to the nominee in case of death due to an accident.
Permanent Total Disablement, 100% of sum insured for injuries resulting in permanent and total loss of earning capacity.
Permanent Partial Disablement, Proportionate compensation as per the policy schedule for partial permanent injuries.
Temporary Total Disablement, Weekly benefit (typically 1% of capital sum per week) during the period of temporary incapacity.

Life cover for all causes of death

Death Benefit, Lump-sum payment to the employee's nominated family member on death, whether by accident or natural causes.
Flexible Sum Insured, Cover can be structured as a flat amount, a multiple of annual salary or on a graded basis by seniority level.
Natural & Accidental Cover, Unlike GPA which covers only accidents, GTLI covers all causes of death including illness and natural causes.

Frequently Asked Questions

Common questions about group medical, accident and life cover in India, answered plainly.

Most insurers require a minimum of 7 lives for a Group Medical Coverage policy and 10 lives for Group Term Life. Some specialist health insurers accept smaller groups. We can source cover for groups as small as 5 employees, though premium rates will be higher than for larger pools.
Yes. Standard GMC coverage includes the employee plus spouse and up to 2-3 dependent children. Dependent parents can be added as an extension, though at a higher premium. For ESIC exemption, the policy must cover at least the employee, spouse and dependent children.
Sum insured per employee depends on employee grade and salary band. We typically recommend ₹3 lakh for entry-level, ₹5 lakh for mid-management and ₹7.5-10 lakh for senior management, with parental cover at a separate sum insured.
Individual employees can port their GMC cover to an individual health policy within 30 days of leaving employment, without medical underwriting, under IRDAI portability guidelines. We co-ordinate this process for departing employees.
For corporate group policies with 50+ members, insurers typically waive the standard 3-year waiting period for pre-existing conditions from day one of the policy. For smaller groups, some exclusions may apply in the first year.
