Accuracy · Sourcing · Corrections
This site publishes insurance guidance that people may act on, so it is worth stating plainly how that content is produced, where the numbers come from, what is checked before anything is published, and what this site is not.
Rakshit Financial Services is an IRDAI-registered insurance advisory based in Udaipur, Rajasthan, working with businesses and families across India since 2004. Everything published here comes from that practice: programme design, placement across India's insurers, renewals and claims advocacy.
Our commercial model is disclosed openly because it affects how you should read our advice: we are remunerated by the insurer when a policy is placed, not by the client. We are not tied to any single insurer, and we say so on every page where we recommend comparing the market.
Insurer claim-settlement ratios shown on this site are taken from the Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority of India's published annual reports. We state the study period alongside the figure, because a settlement ratio without its year is meaningless.
We do not publish estimated, modelled or vendor-supplied settlement figures presented as regulator data. Where we cannot trace a number to the regulator's own report, we say the figure is pending rather than filling the gap.
Our explanatory guides describe how cover, exclusions and claims mechanically work, and deliberately avoid quoting premiums, rates, or rupee thresholds. Those change with every regulation cycle and every risk profile, and a confidently stated stale number is worse than no number at all.
Where a rule or limit genuinely depends on current regulation, we say to check the current IRDAI position rather than freezing a figure into a page that may sit unread for a year.
Articles published on the daily notes feed pass a fixed set of automated checks before they go live: length and structure, absence of unfinished or templated language, a working link to the source being discussed, and a guard that rejects any percentage or rupee figure that does not appear in the cited source.
Anything that fails those checks is held back and reviewed by a person rather than published. The check runs the same way every day and cannot be skipped, which is the point: consistency is what makes automated publishing trustworthy.
If something here is wrong, we would rather know. Write to info@rakshitinsurance.com or WhatsApp +91 92514 56334 and tell us what is inaccurate and where. We correct the underlying source so the fix propagates everywhere the claim appears, and we update the page rather than quietly removing it.
Regulatory positions change. If you are relying on something on this site for a decision with money attached, check the current IRDAI position or ask us directly, and treat the page as a starting point rather than the final word.
Nothing here is personalised financial, tax or legal advice. Insurance suitability depends on your specific exposures, contracts, balance sheet and obligations, none of which a public web page can know. Policy wordings differ between insurers and between years, and the wording is what pays a claim, not the summary.
For advice specific to your situation, speak to an advisor. That conversation is free and carries no obligation.

From IRDAI's published annual reports, with the study period stated alongside each figure. We do not publish modelled or vendor-supplied numbers as if they were regulator data.
Premiums and rate thresholds change with every regulation cycle and vary by risk profile. A stale figure stated confidently is worse than none, so our guides explain mechanics and point to the current IRDAI position instead.
No. It is general information. Insurance suitability depends on your specific exposures and contracts, and the policy wording is what settles a claim. For your situation, speak to an advisor.
